Die finnische Handyhersteller Nokia hat in der eigenen Nokia collection im Windows Phone Store eine weitere exklusive App für alle NFC-fähigen Nokia Lumia Smartphones mit Windows Phone 8 oder höher veröffentlicht und zum Download bereitgestellt. Besitzer eines NFC-fähigen Nokia Lumia Smartphones mit Windows Phone 8 können die Nokia Video Director Companion App ab sofort im Windows Phone Store kostenfrei herunterladen. Mit dessen Hilfe ist es möglich, Videos aufzeichnen sowie Fotos und Videos auf ein Nokia Lumia Tablet übertragen. Die knapp 20 Megabyte große Companion App setzt ein NFC-fähiges Nokia Lumia Smartphone mit Windows Phone 8 oder höher voraus und kann ab sofort im Windows Phone Store kostenlos geladen und installiert werden.
