Dieses Sicherheitsupdate behebt Sicherheitslücken in Office. Die schwerwiegendste davon kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen, wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell gestaltete Office-Datei öffnet. Ein Angreifer, der die Sicherheitslücken erfolgreich ausnutzt, kann beliebigen Code ausführen. Die nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Updates betreffen Office 2016 und Outlook 2016, stellen die neuesten Fixes bereit und verbessern die Stabilität und Leistung. Außerdem hat Microsoft auch die Filterdefinitionen für Junk-E-Mail und schädliche Links für den Office 2016 Junk Email Filter bereitgestellt. Die Updates wurden am 10.
