VLC Beta für Android erhält Update auf Version 0.1.4
Die VideoLAN Entwickler haben im Laufe des gestrigen Tages die mittlerweile sechszehnte Beta Version des VLC Media Player für Android freigegeben und zum Download bereitgestellt. Die Entwickler haben sich bei diesem Update hauptsächlich um Anpassungen für Android 4.4 KitKat gekümmert, sodass sich die App nun auch unter Android 4.4 KitKat fehlerfrei ausführen lassen sollte. Das Update mit der Versions-Nummer 0.1.4 für den VLC Media Player erfordert ein Gerät mit Android 2.1 oder höher kann ab sofort im Google Play kostenfrei geladen und installiert werden. Die Version 0.1.4 enthält die folgenden Neuerungen und Verbesserungen:
- This is the 16th beta of VLC for Android.
- This 0.1.4 version is out mostly to fix issues with Android 4.4 KitKat.
- The previous version improved decoding speed and solved a few crashes and bugs.
- If you have audio issues, a setting allows you to use a different audio method, like AudioTrack (Java).
- Another one is available for video output (YV12 is the fastest, RGB32 the safest).
- You have now settings to control quality vs speed.
