gSyncit für Outlook erhält Update auf Version 4.0.663
Fieldston Software hat im Laufe der Woche ein neues Update für das kostenpflichtige gSyncit Add-in für Outlook 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 und 2013 veröffentlicht und über die offizielle Webseite zum Download freigegeben. Dieses Update beinhaltet diverse Neuerungen, Verbesserungen, Fehlerbehebungen und Leistungsverbesserungen, die sich weiter unten einsehen lassen. Für Nutzer, die gSyncit nicht kennen: gSyncit ist ein Add-in für Microsoft Outlook, mit dessen Hilfe die Google Kontakte, Kalender, Notizen und Aufgaben mit Outlook 2002 und höher synchronisieren lassen. Das knapp 7 Megabyte große Update mit der Versions-Nummer 4.0.663 erfordert ein PC mit Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 oder Windows 8.1 sowie Outlook 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 oder Outlook 2013 und steht ab sofort sowohl über die interne Update Funktion von gSyncit als auch über die offizielle Webseite zum Download bereit. In addition, gSyncit also supports synchronization between Outlook and Toodledo, Pocket Informant Online, Evernote, Dropbox, Simplenote and Nozbe. Please make sure you have all Microsoft Windows and .Net Framework Updates installed to avoid any problems syncing. It is recommended to run Windows Updates prior to installing gSyncit.

Das gSyncit Add-in für Microsoft Outlook ist kompatibel mit den 32-Bit und 64-Bit-Editionen von Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 sowie mit Outlook 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 und den 32-Bit und 64-Bit-Editionen von Outlook 2013, dazu zählt auch die Outlook 2013 Edition von Office 365. Das gSyncit Add-in für Outlook 2002 und neuer steht übrigens auch in einer Testversion zur Verfügung.
You can use the unregistered version before you purchase a license. The unregistered version is limited to synchronizing one Google and Outlook calendar, synchronizing 50 contacts/note/tasks entries and does not sync deletes for contacts/notes/tasks entries. Automatic synchronization is also disabled. Registration will remove these limitations and remove any registration/nag dialogs from the application.

- Update: Displays counter when updating Google calendar cache.
- Update: Updated C++ Runtime dependencies for Unicode compliance.
- Fix: Corrects reported "object reference not found" issue on Outlook 2007 when removing toolbar buttons while closing Outlook.
- Fix: Corrects reports issue where yearly events occuring outside the sync day range may be marked for deletion.
